About the project
Efficient University Administration
Project number: 2023-1-PL01-KA220-HED-000153992
Project duration: 1 st November 2023 – 31 st October 2025
OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the project was to develop a tool enabling a comprehensive assessment of competencies and aptitude of the representatives of potential employees/administrative staff of the university (preparation for work, readiness to work in a team). By competency we mean knowledge, skills and attitudes. In order to achieve this objective, we built an IT system that uses multidimensional comparative analysis methods to determine a possible competence gap.
Target groups
The project is dedicated to three main target groups.

HR and Recruitment Specialists
This group includes those responsible for recruiting and assessing the competencies of university administrative staff, as well as planning their development paths. The competency assessment tool developed within the project significantly supports recruitment processes and regular performance evaluations. By comparing an individual’s test results with the desired competence levels for a given role, the tool provides valuable, objective insights — such as how well a candidate fits the role, where their competency gaps lie, and what steps can be taken to improve their readiness for specific duties.

University Administrative Staff
Employees working in public and private university administration can benefit from a tool that reflects their real working conditions and development needs. Through the testing and refinement of project outcomes, the final version of the tool enables individuals to objectively assess their knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and relate them to their current or planned career paths. Unlike generic corporate tools, this solution is tailored to the academic environment and helps identify specific competency gaps and relevant training opportunities to support personal and professional growth.

Universities and Institutions
Universities themselves form the third target group. They can use the project’s outcomes to strengthen and diversify their internal development strategies. By integrating the tool into their existing HR and training frameworks, institutions gain a reliable method to address current administrative challenges and meet modern expectations. The result is a more agile, competent, and future-ready administrative workforce that contributes to the overall efficiency and excellence of the university.
International Partnership
The project was implemented in partnership of 4 institutions:
